- Congratulations to COMP Member Jaryd Christie, PhD, on receiving the Collip Medal Award – presented annually to the top graduating PhD student from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
- COMP Member Luc Beaulieu, medical physicist and professor at Université Laval, has been named the Québec City Ambassadors’ Club 2024 Ambassador of the Year. He’ll help bring the 21st International Conference on the Use of Computers in Radiation Therapy (ICCR) to Québec City in July 2027.
- Researchers at Carleton University are developing portable, non-invasive technology to detect changes in cells exposed to radiation—work that could improve cancer diagnosis and treatment for millions worldwide. Read more here.
